Alaskan Way Viaduct Demolition by Drone

In January the scenic Alaskan Way Viaduct closed permanently after its route was replaced by a tunnel through downtown Seattle. Now that it is closed, crews are hard at work demolishing it to make way for a new waterfront. Since our office is right next to Pike Place Market, we were able to launch a drone and get a view of what is happening from above.

Back in January we filmed a final view of the Viaduct before it’s closure.
